Matica has announced the addition of two brand new desktop card printers, further strengthening its range for on-the-spot card issuance for the education, enterprise, hospitality and government markets.
In order to meet strong existing demand for the MC310 and the expected demand for these new lines, Matica has doubled its production capacity by opening a second production facility in Europe, based in the UK.
The new MC110 has been designed as the value solution for establishing an in-house ID card issuance program and is targeted towards membership organizations and small to medium sized businesses. Built on the established MC310 platform, it has a simple plug-and-play operation and reliably prints vibrant and colorful cards every time.
Matica’s new MC210 is a robust and reliable option for ID card issuance, with its ruggedized, stylish design making it suitable for use in any environment. Upgradable from single to dual-sided, the MC210 is also available with multiple secure card encoding options. This mid-range printer is perfect for schools, colleges and medium sized businesses that print up to 10,000 cards per year.
Still racing out in front, is the best-in-class MC310 with its market-leading 4-year warranty, outstanding versatility and extensive chromXpert consumable program.
Matica CMO, David Worsdell, commented: “We are delighted to add new direct-to-card printers to our line-up. The new range means that we can now meet every ID application in the market, at the right price and with the right specification. The additional production facility will also help us keep up with the great demand we are seeing from our partners for these products.”
