Matica’s new GEN3 laser solutions, announced at Trustech in 2024, are set to deliver innovation across the entire laser product portfolio from desktop to central issuance.
The new LX PRINTER with its 20W GEN3 fiber laser source combined with a dual module architecture, delivers a solution to meet the most demanding issuance of polycarbonate-based secure ID cards with embedded security features such as micro-text, tilted image/text and transparent-opaque elements.
The S8000 with its supercharged 60W GEN3 laser performance is the first available configuration from Matica’s all-new central issuance platform.
The S8000 is designed to be the centralized backbone for secure laser card personalization and is stacked with high performance, including an enhanced version of the proven Matica LX Laser and Matica’s newly patented Nanotouch card transport for extended operation and high yield.
At the same time the Matica S4200LX also receives an upgrade thanks to the development of this new laser as Valerio Cimbro, Product Manager at Matica confirms: “We are excited to bring the S8000 and the LX PRINTER to market in the coming months – feedback from our customers and partners at Trustech was very positive and they were excited to see powerful performance coupled with such a compact footprint. The new Matica GEN3 LX laser sources will also now be available for our S4200LX solution, bringing improved power to this established platform.”
